Technical Meet on World Soil Day “Green Desert, Better Environment”

As a part of ASSP Kuwait Chapter’s continuous efforts to bring learning opportunities and the latest developments in the field of Health, Safety and environment (HSE), the Chapter is organizing training programs, technical meets, Process Safety technical sessions, Professional and career development opportunities…etc for it’s members and society. The HSE Events Committee of the ASSP Kuwait Chapter (ASSP-KC) organizing one more valuable session on World Soil Day as follows:

Ms. Aisha Al-Baroud – Senior Environmentalist has seventeen years of experience in the environmental field section, and started working in Kuwait Oil Company with Soil Remediation Group in 2012. Ms. Albaroud earned BSc in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering- Environment Field (Kuwait University). Moreover, Ms. Aisha earned the Honorary Doctorate (Ph.D. Honoris Causa) in Environmental Engineering, awarded by the International Agency for Standards and Ratings. Additionally, Ms. Al-baroud was certified in NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational safety and Health) – Environmental Management. She published and presented 40 technical papers in environment fields, which includes soil remediation, air pollution, environment software, unexploded ordnance, risk assessment & ecological monitoring, revegetation, renewable energy, and ground water pollution at several International Conferences, and Journals. In addition, Ms. Albaroud was involved in several Book publications and recently, she released KERP-KOC Journey Book. Last but not least, SE. Aisha obtained multiple awards within Kuwait Oil Company including the 1st Place Winner of the HSSE-CV Award, and the Best HSE Performer Award.
