ASSP-SIMC Blood Donation Campaign 2022

Greetings from ASSP Kuwait Chapter…

As part of WISE Committee activity, ASSP – Kuwait Chapter is planning to conduct “Blood Donation Campaign 2022″ in collaboration with Shuiaba Industrial Medical Center (SIMC), Kuwait.

Donating blood has always been crucial; however, in the time of COVID-19, donating blood is more essential than ever where people may be less inclined to donate blood; therefore, ASSP KC scheduling Annual Blood Donation Campaign under the theme of “Donate Blood to Save Life”.

The objective of this initiative is to generate awareness and propagate the significance of blood donation in saving lives.

• Certificate for the BLOOD DONOR by ASSP Kuwait Chapter.
• Self-satisfaction of Saving a Life.

·         The donor should not donate if vaccinated with Oxford within last 2 weeks.

·         The donor should not donate if vaccinated with Pfizer within last 48 hours.

·         The donor should not donate if infected with Covid-19 within last 2 weeks.

·         The donor should not donate if he/she had donated blood within last 2 months

·         The donor should not have taken any antibiotics within last 1 week.

·         The donor should not be on insulin for diabetes.

·         The donor should not be less than 50 kilograms.

·         The donor should not be pregnant.

·         The donor should not have undergone any operation within last one year.

·         The donor should not have any tattoo.

·         The donor should not have travelled to any country in the past 6 months.

·         Need valid civil ID or mobile ID.

·         No cupping in the previous month.

·         (Cupping – a therapy in which heated glass cups are applied to the skin along the meridians of the body, creating suction and believed to stimulate the flow of energy.)

Transportation for the participants shall be arranged if required. Please select the Transportation required option while registering.
