A respiratory protective equipment (RPE) fit test is a method for checking that a tight fitting facepiece matches the persons facial features and seals adequately. It will also help to identify unsuitable facepieces which should not be used.

There are a number of different internationally recognized fit testing methods being either qualitative (QLFT) or Quantitative (QNFT) which are practiced in the industry. These different methods have pros and cons and may only be suitable for certain types of respirators.

All the points were detailed during the session and by the open question & answer session the members are largely benefited.

At the end of the program, an online quiz program was conducted through Kahoot! and the winners, Mr. Aamir Mohammad Akbar, Mr. Adnan Iqbal Dawre and Mr. Rizwan Ahmad Shaikh were facilitated by Chapter President and Vice President.
