The PSM Specialty Group of ASSP-KC is dedicated to advancing Process Safety skills, raising awareness, and providing networking opportunities. As a committee formed by the ASSP Kuwait Chapter, we organize various trainings and technical meetings focused on PSM. Our primary objective is to enhance expertise in Process Safety through informative articles, training sessions, and monthly Process Safety Technical Meets.

Arshad Ayub Shaik, CFSP
Mr. Arshad Ayub Shaik is working for Technip Energies as a Lead Technical Safety Engineer. Prior to this, he worked as a Safety Engineer for Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Process Safety Engineer for leading consulting companies and conducted more than 100 PHAs including software modelling in different sectors. He worked for reputed organizations such as KOC, KNPC, KGOC, PIC, ONGC India, IOCL, DCW, IAL, AMEC Foster Wheeler, Fluor, Petrofac, Saipem, Mott Macdonald and L&T in different countries of Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
Mr. Arshad’s Academic Achievements:
Certified Functional Safety Professional from Exida.
Post Graduated in Petroleum Engineering from IIT Madras.
Gold medallist in Chemical Engineering (B. Tech).
Presented a paper in Marry Kay O’ Conner Process Safety Centre titled “Risk Assessment: A tool for Control room sitting” in Texas A&M University, USA
