Dear Members,
In order to develop professionals in the field of Process Safety, improve general awareness and interest and provide a platform for networking ASSP-KC established a special PSM Focus Group in June 2019. In addition to several activities planned under the PSM Focus Group it is also decided to hold monthly PS Technical Meets.
Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event held each August that recognizes the successes of workplace health and safety programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe.
To organize a program for Safe + Sound Week, the second PS Technical Meet shall be organized on 19th August 2020. This will be held online on ASSP subscribed Zoom platform.
A technical meet is not a seminar but may include one more small presentations for experience sharing and information. The main purpose of the meet is discussion among members on topics of relevance, networking and informal sharing of information.
